Read Growing Vegetable Soup by Lois Ehlert. Choose some vegetables. Help your children cut the vegetables and put them in a pot. Add canned broth. Season to taste. Cook the soup and enjoy with crackers. If your children are too small, precut the vegetables but let them put the vegetables in the pot. Be careful-it may be hot so be sure to review proper kitchen safety rules.
