Can I get a little help in the kitchen, please?

When you return home from the grocery store allow your child to help you put the groceries away. This simple activity teaches what food items need to be cold and what can be in a pantry or cabinet. Be sure to use a lot of words while talking with your child –to expand vocabulary. For example “the American cheese is a dairy food and goes inside the meat and cheese drawer in the refrigerator.”
