Eleven to Twelve-Year-Olds
Make sure your child receives the following vaccinations: MCV4, and Tdap. Females should also receive the HPV4 vaccination.
The MCV4 vaccine protects your child against meningitis, a bloodstream infection that can lead to death.
The Tdap vaccine protects your child against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough).
The HPV4 vaccine protects your female child against Human Papillomavirus (HPV). HPV can lead to genital warts and cervical cancer.
