Your child's first teeth will begin coming in between three and sixteen months. The actual time depends on genetics. If your teeth came in later as a child, your child’s teeth probably will too. The two bottom front teeth will be the first to come in, followed by the four upper teeth in four to eight weeks.
Your child will continue to get new teeth until he/she has all twenty primary teeth. This usually happens around three years old. On average, children will get four new teeth every four months.
Around six or seven years old, children begin to lose their first teeth. They’ll continue to lose their baby teeth until they’re about preteen age (between 11 and 13). Permanent teeth will begin to appear when your child begins to lose his/her baby teeth.
